Ariel Dawn Trejo, 20 of Dumas passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Funeral service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at First Street Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Ariel was born on February 21, 2001 in Dumas, TX to John and Delphina (Harris) Trejo. She was born and raised in Dumas where she graduated from Dumas High School in 2019. Ariel was employed at JBS. In her spare time, she loved to listen to music, draw, and paint. Ariel loved her niece, Audree very much. She was of Christian faith and will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Lupe Trejo. Ariel is survived by her parents; John and Delphina Trejo of the home; sister: Xena Trejo and Jonathan Zambrano of Dumas, TX; niece: Audree Zambrano of Dumas, TX; brother: Andrew Trejo of the home; grandfather: Pánfilo Trejo of Dumas, TX; uncles and aunt: Tomas Trejo and wife Catalina, Veronica Nuñez and husband Aurelio of Hereford, TX, Miguel Trejo and wife Zinia of Dumas, TX; grandparents: Ygancio and Norma Gutierrez of Dumas, TX; uncles: George Harris and wife Jessica all of Dumas, TX, David Gutierrez of Dalhart, TX, Angel Gutierrez and wife Erica of Amarillo, TX; numerous cousins and extended family members.
