JD SUTTLES Westminster – J.D. Suttles, 72, of 153 Tabor Road, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Seneca Health & Rehab. A native of Oconee County, he was the son of the late William Matheson and Flossie Mae Bell Holbrooks Suttles. Mr. Suttles retired from JP Stevens and was of the Church of God Faith. Survivors include a son Joseph Sean Suttles of Canada; daughter, Tonia Davis of Walhalla; brother, Odis Suttles of Selma, NC; sisters, Dovie Little, Bonnie Freeman, and Faye Hare all of Westminster, Sara Butts of North Augusta, SC, and Margaret Spencer of Donalds, SC; and two grandchildren, Blake and Isabella Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Julian, Earl, Truman, and Alvin Suttles; and sisters, Ruth Martin, Guynell Poole, Molly King, Polly Suttles, and Ollie Long. A graveside service will be held 11 am, Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Cross Roads Baptist Church #2 Cemetery. The family is at their respective homes. Flowers are accepted.
