Jeffrey Dean Carpenter was born March 20th, 1970 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Sharon Kaye (Edler) and Earl Dean Carpenter. He passed away Sunday, December 5th, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 51 years, 8 months and 15 days. Jeff grew up in Canute, Oklahoma where he attended school and graduated in 1988. After graduation he worked briefly at Pendleton's Truck Stop before he started at Dean's Auto Sales where he detailed cars not only for Dean but for other dealerships around town. Throughout his life he held various other jobs in different industries and areas of work. He was married to Shelly Lynn (Carver) in Elk City, Oklahoma on May 20th, 2016. They remained in Elk City to make their home. Jeff enjoyed camping, working at the Elk City Speedway, watching Nascar, OU football, OKC Thunder and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Claude and Hazel Carpenter, Joe and Bertha Edler and 1 brother, Glen Lee Carpenter. Jeff is survived by his wife, Shelly, of the home; 2 sons, Brandon Carpenter and C.J. Estes; his parents, Dean and Sharon Carpenter; one brother, Greg Carpenter and wife, Chasitie and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 13th, 2021 at Holy Family Cemetery officiated by Father Danny Grover.
