Jarod Anthony Thomas McCusker

Jarod Anthony Thomas McCusker, of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the age of 32. He was born on Sunday, February 19, 1989 in Wiesbaden, Germany to Joseph John, Jr. and Tamatha Jan (Turner) McCusker. He was very adventurous and enjoyed art, writing poetry, drawing, meteorology and traveling through the Colorado Mountains. He loved spending time with his kids and his family, and had a great love for God through our Lord Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Don Couch, Karen McCusker and his paternal great-grandmother Nina McCusker. Survivors include his wife Melinda McCusker of Rowlett, Texas; parents Joseph and Tammy McCusker of Durant, Oklahoma; his loving children, son Joseph Michael McCusker; daughters Juliana McCusker and Jordyn McCusker of Rowlett, Texas; brother Josh McCusker and wife Shonda of Argyle, Texas; sister Jessica Kanski and husband Timothy of Frisco, Texas; paternal grandparents Joseph, Sr. and Rita McCusker of New Mexico; maternal grandmother Sylvia Couch of Addison, Texas as well as numerous other extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Monterey Chapel, 224 S. 9th, Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Samuel Hull officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma.
