Harry Sherboken Obituary

Harry Sherboken, 91, a lifelong Smithfield resident passed away Monday, December 6, 2021. He was the husband of the late Pauline F. (Perron) Sherboken. Born in Providence, he was the son of late Paul and Mary (Teteruk) Sherboken. Mr. Sherboken was a carpenter for the Lapham Construction Co., Kenneth Pepper Construction Co. and Stormtite Co. for many years before retiring. Mr. Sherboken enjoyed hunting and fishing at Jerry Pond in Maine, gardening, raising beagles and up until last week he was splitting wood. He was the father of Paul Sherboken of Smithfield, Donna Sgambato and Jill Gregory both of Slatersville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation and funeral will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 8-9am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Michael Church, Smithfield. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917 will be appreciated.
