It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Rose Ethier (nee Gauthier) on December 4, 2021, at the age of 99 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerard Quinn and Lucien Ethier. Devoted mother of Richard Quinn (Ginette) Robert Quinn (Joanne), Michelle Guillemette (Claude-predeceased, Raymond-predeceased), Paulette Groulx (Gilles), Louise Green (Terry), Colline LaVictoire (Richard-predeceased). Cherished grandma of Marc, Josee (predeceased), Allain (Julie), Natalie, Josee (Brady), Brigitte (Jean), Benoit (Kristin), Joel (Melanie), Julie (Stephane), Eric, Melissa (Kyle), Kristina (Pat), Renee (Justin), Stephanie (Cory). Very proud great grandma of Courtney, Jarred, Matthew, Amelia, Alexi, Mateo, Fiona, Leslie, Abby, Katelyn, Ashton, Miguel, Alexandre, Jackson, William, Julia, Lydia, Colton, Trinity, Kali and Kagon.  She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by her parents Cleophas and Alexina Gauthier and her siblings; Cecile Turgeon (Archie), Edouard Gauthier (Evelyn), Delima Bessette (Noel), Solomon Gauthier (Marie) and Adelard Gauthier (Fidele). A heartfelt thank you to the D3 staff at the NBRHC for their exceptional care and compassion.

The Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Thursday December 9, 2021, from 11 am until the time of service in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm. Covid-19 restrictions remain in place limiting the number of attendees and requiring the wearing of a face mask or face covering and social distancing at all times when in the funeral home.
