Frederick "Fred" Albert Quitasol Cruz
<p>CRUZ, Frederick "Fred" Albert Quitasol, age 51, born on March 9, 1970 in Manila Philippines, passed away at home in Toronto with family members by his side on December 3, 2021. The time between his cancer diagnosis and passing was extremely short despite attempting treatments. Our family supported his decision to stop treatments and his wish to stay at home until the very end.</p> <p>Fred is survived by his parents (Theresita and Alberto), his siblings (Pamela, Lisa, Belinda and Chris) his nephews and nieces (Nathan, Jettson, Sonya, Sydney, Caydence, and Robbie) and his uncle Rhey who was like a second father to him.</p> <p>To those that knew him, Fred was fiercely loyal, kind and generous. He had many interests but loved photography, the outdoors, volunteering his time and above all, his friends and family. He lived and enjoyed a simple and humble life. These qualities are what we love about him and will miss deeply each and every day.</p> <p>A special thank you to those friends who organized and contributed to a fundraiser for Fred.
