Keith Edwin Pope, Sand Springs resident, passed from this life on December 5, 2021 at his home. He was 47.
Keith was born December 23, 1973 in Tulsa, OK the son of Paul and Margaret Pope. He grew up in Talihina, OK and graduated from high school there. Following high school, he enlisted in the US Navy and proudly served for 11 years. On April 12, 2012 Keith married his wife Jennifer at Robbers Cave in Wilburton and they made their home in the Tulsa area. After Keith received his discharge from the Navy he worked as a truck driver on and off for 16 years, something he had wanted to do since childhood. He enjoyed playing basketball, spending time with his girls and watching Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo.
He had a very kind soul and those people Keith thought a lot of he never forgot.
Survivors include his wife Jennifer of the home, two daughters Autumn Lindsey and Jasmine Pope; his mother Margaret Pope, three brothers James Pope, Aaron Pope and wife Kendra and Shawn St. John and one sister Tiffany Pope. Countless Aunts, uncles and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, One Sister.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday December 9, 2021 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brent Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. Viewing will be before the service on Thursday from 9:00 am to service time.
