Bruce Smith went to be with the Lord on Nov 30, 2021. Jonathan Bruce Smith was born on Feb. 22, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas.

 

Bruce lived in Oklahoma until 1982, when he relocated to Montana. He enjoyed playing softball, hunting, horseback riding, rock hunting and working in the outdoors. While living his dream in Montana, Bruce married his best friend Judy in the spring of 1995. They worked diligently on their land up Pinkham to develop it into the horse property they both loved.

 

Bruce is preceded in death by his father Bill and brother Eric.

 

Bruce is survived by his mother Millie, brother Joe, wife Judy, children Amber, Amy, Traleika, Melissa, and Nathan; grandchildren are Mikayla, Zach, Jewle, Isaac, Elizabeth, Ezra, Madison, Colter, Aubrey, Sienna, Alyssa and Caleb.

 

Friends and family will miss his competitive nature and his unique sense of humor.

 

Services were held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., at Fortine Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Eureka. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
