Richard A. Singer Sr.

Richard A. Singer, Sr., 78 of Howard, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at his home.  He was born on March 18, 1943 in Lock Haven, Pa. the son of the late Raymond & Myrtle Walker Singer.  

On July 27, 1963 he was united in marriage to Patsy C. McCloskey who survives at home.

Richard was employed at Cerro retiring after many years of service.

He was an avid hunter, enjoyed restoring old cars, watching sports and especially spending time with his family.

Along with his wife he is survived by one son, Richard A. Jr. (Barby) of Howard, one daughter, Sheila (Jeff) St. Clair of Howard, two brothers, Harold & Ken Singer both of Howard, four sisters, Lois Moore of Blanchard, Anna Bowers of Howard, Betty Gray of Howard and Kathryn Herr of Beech Creek, two grandchildren, Shannon Singer & Madison Rockey and his faithful K-9 Companion Scotty.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn & Walter Singer.

Funeral services will be held at Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 with the Pastor Titus Stracener officiating,  Due to Covid-19 services will be private.  Interment will be at the Schencks Cemetery, Howard.  

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donors choice.
