Almeda DiBacco

<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><em><strong>Almeda Jane Sexton DiBacco</strong></em>, born May 16th 1945 at Josephine WV to Edward Dewey and Leona Meadows Sexton.&nbsp; Passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus at home after a short illness, with her family by her side.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">She was preceded in death by brothers Edward, Gene and his wife, Joan Sexton, Johnny and his wife Glorie Sexton; sister Rosalee and husband David Morgan.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">Those left to cherish her memory is her husband and love of her life, Tony DiBacco; special niece Terry Humphrey and husband Randall; special nephew Michael Morgan and wife Lisa; many extended family, friends living through out other states.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">Almeda was a 1963 graduate of Stoco High School and went on to graduate from Beckley College with an Associate Degree in Elementary Education.&nbsp; She furthered her education by going on to Concord College for 2 years.&nbsp; She then taught elementary school in Parkersburg area for 4 years then coming back to Beckley to work at Murphy&rsquo;s Dept. Store for 4 yrs so she could be near and to take care of her ailing parents.&nbsp; After that she devoted the next 20 years taking care of her parents full time at home.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">After meeting and marrying Tony DiBacco, they enjoyed traveling, attending fairs and festivals throughout the East Coast, going to church and flea markets, shopping, and spending weekends at their RV on South Holston Lake in TN for approximately 25 years.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">The family would like to extend love and special thanks to care givers Lisa Abbott and Ginny Price and also to Hospice.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday at Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center from 11:00 am &ndash; 1 pm.&nbsp; A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm.&nbsp; Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery.&nbsp; Words of comfort may be offered to the family by visiting www.meltonmortuary.com</span></p>
