Wanda Jean Alexander was born May 23rd, 1962 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Virginia May (Blain) and Franklin Clayton Perry. She passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 6 months and 10 days. Wanda grew up in Sayre, Oklahoma where she attended school graduating in 1980. After her graduation she was married to Mickey Alexander. They remained in Sayre where they had and raised their family. In 1994 she began working at Sweetwater Schools as a teacher's aide and special education aide. She continued in this capacity for over 20 years. It was during this time she was married to Richard Yarbrough on May 17th, 1996. They remained in Sayre while she continued working with Sweetwater schools. She retired in 2017 and became a full time "Memaw". She enjoyed anything involving her family, children and grandchildren as long as it was warm. She is preceded in death by her father; step father, Buddy Williams; her first husband, Mickey Alexander; 2 infant children and 1 sister, Tricia Langner. Wanda is survived by her husband, Rick "Papa", of the home; 2 children, Jennifer Williamson and husband, Matthew, Sayre, OK and David Alexander and girlfriend, Laura Matney, Sayre, OK; 3 granddaughters, Baily Alexander and boyfriend, Bobby Reeves, Kaitlyn Pipes and Jaicey Heath; one great grandson on the way, Azaiah Jene; her mother, Virginia Williams, Sayre, OK; sister, Marie Brown, Stillwater, OK and one brother, Roger Williams and wife, Pam, Chickasha, OK and a host of other relatives, friends and students. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at the Sayre First Baptist Church officiated by Larry Parvin and Pete Parker.
