James F. (Jimmie) Tringale Obituary

James F. “Jimmie” Tringale, 65, of Andover, MA, passed away suddenly Thursday, December 2, 2021. He was born July 10, 1956 in Boston, MA to the late Charles and Christine (Farley) Tringale. Jimmie was a big kid at heart, he loved any opportunity to go to Fenway Park with his son to watch the Boston Red Sox and he never missed watching a game. Jimmie also had an incredible sense of humor and for those that knew him may even consider him a “wise guy” because of the jokes and pranks he would pull. He enjoyed watching the Three Stooges on Sundays and the annual New Year’s Eve marathon, especially with his grandson. The Christmas season was one of Jimmie’s favorite times of the year, he especially loved taking a trip to the Charles Ro model train store in Malden, MA and had an impressive collection of trains he would set up in his home for the holidays. Thursday was Jimmie’s day off, his favorite day of the week where he enjoyed going for a ride to Salisbury beach with his loving wife Merry and stopping at Giuseppe’s Italian Restaurant in Newburyport, MA on the way home for their favorite meal. Jimmie was incredibly creative, artistic and loved going to the Paint Bar with his daughter when he could and would be proud to show off his latest creation to his wife when he got home, every creation had a special spot. Jimmie worked for Howard Johnson’s Restaurants in his early twenties where he met his beautiful wife Merry. After his time with Howard Johnson’s, he worked for Denny’s Restaurant as a district manager. Most recently, Jimmie worked for Atamian Honda in Tewksbury for almost 29 years where he gained lifelong friendships and his second family. Jimmie is survived by his loving wife Merry Tringale (Henrietta) of 43 years, daughter Khara Acciavatti (Tringale) and her husband Peter of Beverly, MA, son Mark V. Tringale and his wife Robyn of Lowell, MA, grandson Domenic Acciavatti and dear brother, Charles Tringale of Revere, MA. Jimmie is also survived by his niece, nephews, and his work family at Atamian Honda in Tewksbury, MA. Jimmie is predeceased by parents Charles and Christine (Farley) Tringale and brother Dennis Tringale. Jimmie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was loved by all that knew him and touched so many lives, his generosity was beyond compare. He will be deeply missed. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
