Wayne D. Holtman Cannon Falls, Minnesota Obituary

Wayne D. Holtman

Wayne Douglas Holtman
3/22/1941 – 11/27/2021

Many will remember my Dad for his love of Horseshoe Pitching. He was an avid horseshoe pitcher and attended and won many tournaments over the years. He was also a fan of old country music and old ‘cowboy’ movies and was quite a collector of western movie memorabilia over the years. There are so many things I could say about him, enough to fill a book, he was truly one of a kind and we lost a golden soul when he died. He is loved and dearly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Holtman of Red Wing, MN; his children, Steve Holtman (Nancy) of Howard Lake, MN, Sheila Peterson (Scott) of Red Wing, MN, and Kenneth Holtman of Red Wing, MN; his sister, Cheryl Lampton of Twin Valley, MN; and brother, Ronald Holtman (Ellen) of Crookston, MN.

There will be a 'Celebration of Life' Memorial Service for him in April, 2022.
