Peggy Sue Blackburn, 82 of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Brightwood Nursing Home. She was born on May 28, 1939, in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Jack Hayward Brown and Evelyn Mae (Wallace) Brown. Peggy graduated from Wellsburg High School Class of 1958 and spent her life as a homemaker caring for her beloved family. She was Jehovah Witness by faith. She is survived by four sons, Charles (Donna) Blackburn of Missouri, James (Donna) Blackburn, Robert Blackburn both of Wellsburg, WV, Gerald (Rita) Blackburn of Follansbee, WV; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie Serevich of Follansbee, WV; a niece, Tasha (Jeff) Taylor of Wellsburg, WV; a nephew, Travis (Grace) Serevich of FL; great nephews, Kenny, Carson, and Nathan; along with many others. There will be no visitation. All services and inurnment will be held privately at the convenience of Peggy’s family.
