Mr. Freeman E. Clarke of Upper Island Cove passed peacefully away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Mr. Clarke was 92 years old. He leaves to mourn: Children: Mary (Philip), Bill (Cindy), Edward & Mike (Lisa) Grandchildren: Lynn (Sandy) Neil, Brian Andrews, Stephanie (Dave) Rose, Stacey (Reese) Dawes, Alex Clarke & Mackenna Clarke Great Grandchildren: Josh Neil, Denver Neil, Sadie Andrews, Jackson Rose, Luke Rose, Jesse Rose, Violet Dawes & Walker Dawes Siblings-in-law: Florence Clarke, Bernice Clarke, Patsy Greeley, Theresa Greeley, Randolph (Sandra) Greeley & Sylvia Greeley And a large circle of family & friends Predeceased by: Wife: Susie Clarke Parents: Matthew & Mary Clarke Parents-in-law: William & Rebecca Greeley Siblings: Lewis (Phoebe), George, Harold, Maisie (Clarence) Noftall & Gwen Smith Siblings-in-law: Ray (Marion) Greeley, Malcolm Greeley, Will (Betty) Greeley, Harold Greeley, Max (Barbara) Greeley, Joyce (George) Fillier & Winston Greeley The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Cranes Road, Upper Island Cove on Tuesday: 11 A.M.-9 P.M. & Wednesday: 10:30 A.M.-1 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy donations may be made in his loving memory to St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund. Proof of vaccination will be needed for both visitation and the Funeral Service. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 2 P.M. from St. Peter’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.
