<p>Jimmy Buchanan, age 78, of Cedar Hill, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at his home.</p> <p>Jimmy entered this life on February 3, 1943, in Cumberland City, Tennessee, to the late Eugene Buchanan and Sammie Slaughter Buchanan.</p> <p>After retiring as a rural letter carrier, Jimmy loved spending time with family and enjoyed the outdoors, especially golfing, fishing and gardening. He attended Grace Community Church.</p> <p>Jimmy will be forever cherished and greatly missed by all of his loved ones. He is survived by his life companion, Linda Parnham, son, Kevin Leon (Astrid) Buchanan, daughter, Jennifer Lynn Buchanan, brother Kyle (Janet) Buchanan, and three grandchildren: Evan Buchanan, Houston Buchanan, and Katarina Buchanan.</p> <p>In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Buchanan.</p> <p>Visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception School, 1901 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37043.</p> <p>Arrangements are entrusted to Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, 1510 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040; (931) 408-9690.</p>Obituary
