A memorial gathering for Travis Lynn Daniel, 53, of Whitney will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Grandview Church of Christ. Travis passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Whitney. He was born to Harold James and Brenda Kay Bruce Daniel on September 14, 1968 in Cleburne. Travis married Melissa Sue Trammell on October 6, 2017 in Hill County. He was the owner and operator of T-D Excavation and Dirt Works. Travis was a member of Open Range Cowboy Church, Whitney. He was known as being a “character”, always enjoying a good laugh with friends and loved ones. He played the guitar and sang, bringing much joy to others. He was a hunter, fisherman and team-roper. Travis will be remembered with every sunrise, as they were his favorite part of the day and made him feel at peace. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Adrian Daniel. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Sue Daniel; his beloved horse, Dub and dogs (aka his fur babies), Bella, Jolene, and Taz; brothers, Harold Daniel and Greg Daniel; father and mother-in-law, Jimmie and Sue Ann Trammell; sister and brother-in-law, Deanna and Phillip Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
