Earl Gene Jahay passed away at the age of 68 on December 1, 2021 at his home in Woodward, Oklahoma. He was born on July 25, 1953 to Samuel and Minnie (Remmele) Jahay. His first home was on the family farm in the Greenwood Community north of Fargo, Oklahoma. He attended the Fargo School with his three older brothers. After the loss of his parents he spent time living with his aunts and uncles. For a short time he was a member of the Boy Scouts. He returned to the Woodward area and finished High School in 1973.

After graduation he worked at various places including Woodward News and Harper Sanitation. The last several years he spent his time mowing and doing yard work while walking around town.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Minnie Jahay and two brothers, Terry Ray Jahay of Pueblo, Colorado and Virgil William Jahay of Nashville, Tennessee.

He is survived by one brother, Larry Lee Jahay of Fargo, Oklahoma, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
