Stacy Lynn Sanders

Stacy Lynn Sanders, 40, a resident of Victory Mills, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Troy, NY on December 30, 1980 to Joseph Barno and her mother Maryann Smith. She was raised by her father Dave Smith. First and foremost, Stacy was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend to so many. Faith was strong inside of her and its that faith that kept her family grounded. She was the rock of the household even during times of struggle she didn’t show weakness or fear. Stacy was meticulous in planning family events and social gatherings. Time spent with her family, especially apple picking meant everything to her. Just this summer, family memories, love and laughter were enjoyed on their family vacation to Hampton Beach. Stacy had a special bond with her mother Maryann, they were best friends. She was married to her husband Jeremy for the past 15 years and together they would share and love their 6 children. Stacy was constantly praying for others especially her children, she would pray over them at night and journal down her prayers. If she ever was allowed a free moment to relax and decompress, you would find her playing candy crush on her phone. She will be missed by all who knew her, Any Who! Just remember, that I will always love you all! She is survived by her loving husband Jeremy Sanders of Victory Mills; her children Trinity, Cynthia, Alivia, Natalie, Jacob and Sophia Sanders; mother and father Maryann and Dave Smith; brother Adam (Kelly) Kovacs; sister Jenna (Karriem) Barno; several nieces, nephews and special friends. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at ND Visitation Church 18 Pearl St, Schuylerville, NY, 12871 with the Rev. Clyde Mcasgill officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY. A reception for family and friends will be held at the David Nevins Volunteer Fire Co. P.O. Box 78, Victory Mills, NY, 12884 immediately following her burial. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a trust being set up for her children in her memory, at Glens Falls National Bank, Schuylerville.
