Upon settling in Perrysburg, Sheri became an Avon representative and loved the opportunity to meet with friends and neighbors, she was quite the socialite. Later in life, Sheri received a degree in Business which landed her a sales position with A-Copy. She sold computerized typewriters and received multiple awards for top sales.
