Ronald Eugene Due, age 90, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021.

Ronald was born on May 10, 1931 in Lansing, Michigan to parents, Samuel and Freda Due. He married Patricia Stack in October 1952 in Angola, Indiana. In January 1953, at age 21, Ronald was enlisted to serve in the United States Army. In 1955, he separated from the Armed Forces and continued his education at the University of Michigan, where Ronald graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in 1962. He went on to complete various projects around the state of Michigan including the designing and building of a school. Ultimately he found employment as an architect with the University of Michigan and spent the entirety of his career working on various projects throughout campus.

In his spare time, Ronald enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends; traveling the world with his beloved wife to places like Holland, Russia, Egypt, Spain, Italy, France, Greece, China, Kenya, and Tanzania; he also enjoyed sailing and photography.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia; son, Christopher; daughter-in-law, Nancy, and parents, Samuel and Freda.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Beth Iris; grandchildren, Paul (Stacey) Hasselfeldt, Jennifer Galvin, Phillip Due, Sarah (Allen) Meyer, and Andrew (Sheridan) Due; great-grandchildren, Noah, Tyler, Simone, Collin, Wyatt, Leyton, and Oliver; and extended family members.
