Victor Condo

Victor, “Vicky” Condo, December 23, 1936 – December 4, 2021 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Tina (Virgilio), his three children, Dominick, Pauline Salerno (Joseph), Tina Marie (Frank) and his cherished grandson, Victor. He is predeceased by ten siblings and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Victor was a painter and grainer in South Philadelphia until he retired at the age of 77. He was a life-long new year’s shooter, marching in his first parade in 1947. In 1965 he and his brother Sal founded the Golden Parrot New Year’s Brigade. He was honored by being inducted into the Mummers’ Hall of Fame in 1997. Above all, Victor will be remembered for the love of his family, his generous heart and for always being a true gentleman. .Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 6 - 9PM Baldi Funeral Home 1331 S. Broad St. (Ample Parking on premises) and Friday 8:30 - 9:30. Funeral MASS will follow viewing Friday morning 10AM Epiphany of Our Lord Church 11th and Jackson St. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
