Mrs. Betty Lou Haynes McCuen Crisp Springhill, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lou Haynes McCuen Crisp, age 85, of Springhill, LA, will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA with Bro. Harley Sisson and Steve Atkinson officiating. Interment will follow in Western Cemetery, Emerson, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Crisp was born on November 10, 1936 to J.W. and Inez Wynne Haynes in Emerson, AR and passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 in Bossier City, LA surrounded by her family. She was a caring person that saw to the needs of her husband and all of her family members, despite her own health. She was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ, and served her community, working in many retail stores such as Brian's Shoe Store, The Toggrey, Ben Franklin, Kenwen's Dress Shop, West Brother's, Bealls and Stage. After retiring, she was a caregiver to her mother and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 24 years husband, Warren Crisp of Springhill, LA; daughter, Debbie Knight/Dean of Taylor, AR; son, David McCuen and wife, Jerri Sue of Shongaloo, LA; three grandsons, Lynn Knight of Taylor, AR, Jake McCuen of Minden, LA, Jeb McCuen of Taylor, AR; two granddaughters, Brook Dean and fiancé, Mike Bonner of Springhill, LA, Amanda Gail Rodrigues and husband, Cody of Simsboro, LA; two step-daughters, Kerry Stiles and husband, Ramey of Marianna, AR, Sherry Wooten and husband, Mike of Tyler, TX; sister, Terry Gail Haynes-Ray of Shongaloo, LA; sister-in-law, Virginia Haynes-Roberts; as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Mrs. Crisp was preceded in death by her husband, B.W. "Red" McCuen; her parents; brother, James Haynes; sister, Joyce Morgan; two brothers-in-law, Robert "Bobby" Ray and Gilbert Morgan. Pallbearers will be Jay Ray, Marty Ray, Reini Harlon, Bobby Tindall, Jonathan Morgan, and Derek Haynes. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Thomas, Carlton McCuen, and Keith Garirich. The family of Mrs. Crisp would like to express special thanks to the doctors and staff of Intensive Specialty Hospice in Bossier City, and Springhill Medical Center for their care.
