David (Dave) Franklin Keyes, of Lancing passed away December 4, 2021, at his home.  He was born in Morgan County, Alabama, August 24, 1940, to Charles Judson Keyes, Sr. and Alice Ryan Keyes. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles J. Keyes, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Barbra Perry Keyes and stepson, Adam Booker; sister, Betty Keyes Kelso Clough; brothers-in-law, Larry Perry (Eloise) and Don Perry (Kate; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

David retired from the U.S. Government Nuclear Testing Facility Y-12 in Oak Ridge.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, Secretary/Treasurer for Morgan County Forestry Dept., and Executive Director for the Unicorn Fund.

The family is honoring Davids wishes to be cremated.  No services are scheduled at this time.
