<p>Katherine Louise Murray, age 82, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday evening, December 3, 2021 at her home in Coweta, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.&nbsp; Katherine was born on January 5, 1939 in Bixby, Oklahoma to Lee Russell and Katie Bell (Rankin) Woods.&nbsp; She was a bookkeeper at Security Bank in Coweta, Oklahoma for many years. &nbsp;Katherine married James David Murray on August 31, 1956 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.&nbsp; She was a faithful member of Shahan Free Will Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma.&nbsp; Katherine was a hard worker who loved her family.&nbsp; Katherine was a very talented seamstress she made prom dresses, wedding dresses, and all the costumes anyone of her children or grandchildren ever wanted or needed.&nbsp; She was an awesome cook who cooked for her church and family.&nbsp; Everyone could not wait to see what momo had prepared for them.&nbsp; Katherine decorated for church functions and all the decorating for holidays for her family.&nbsp; She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all and will be greatly missed.</p> <p>Katherine is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Murray of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; her three children, DeAnna Yocham of Haskell, Oklahoma, Mike Murray of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Sherry Murray of &nbsp;Coweta, Oklahoma; her sister, Barbara Kent and her husband Mitchell of Coweta, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Beau Brinlee and his wife Tasha of Coweta, Oklahoma, Audra Bachman and her husband Kyle of Miami, Oklahoma, RayAnna Estep and her husband Erick of Miami, Oklahoma, and Wyatt Murray of Coweta, Oklahoma; five great grandchildren, Blair Brinlee, Presley Brinlee, Reese Brinlee, Colter Bachman, and Kinsley Murray; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.</p> <p>Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Russell and Katie Bell Woods; her brother, Tom Woods; her sister, Margie McVicker; and her grandson, Ben Brinlee.</p> <p>Visitation will be from 6:00 &ndash; 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.&nbsp; Services celebrating Katherine&rsquo;s life will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Lynn Moss officiating.&nbsp; Katherine will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.&nbsp; Pallbearers are Ronnie Denton, Kirby Brumble, Kyle Bachman, Erick Estep, Dusty Yocham, and John Edmiston.</p> <p>Family and friends may share memories online at www.brownfamilycares.com.
