Suzanne Mack nee Charbonneau, age 91, Born in Three Rivers, Quebec, Canada, of Winnetka, IL, formerly resided in Montreal, Quebec until meeting the love of her life, the late Walter M. Mack, and moved to Chicago, IL. Loving mother of Elaine M. (Stephen) Timbers, Linda C. Mack, and Stephen W. (Dayle) Mack. Dear grandmother of Michael, Veronica (Jason) Wilk, and Kevin Mack; Alexander, and the late Christopher, and Brendan Timbers. Kind and loving sister of the late Canadian Senator and Speaker of the Canadian Senate, Guy Charbonneau and the late Canadian General, Pierre Charbonneau. Fond sister-in-law of the late Denise (the late Patrick) Shea. Daughter of the late Charles Frederick Charbonneau and Marie-Rose Lajoie. Descendant of forebearers who arrived in Canada more than 400 years ago (1600s) from Bordeaux, France.
Suzanne was involved with numerous organizations including: The Woman’s Board of Rush University Medical Center, The Woman’s Board of Northwestern University, The Antiquarian Society of the Art Institute, The Women’s Board of the Field Museum, and The Contemporary Club. She was also an avid golfer who won several club championships.
Funeral Mass Thursday, December 9, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Saints Faith, Hope & Charity Church, 191 Linden Street, Winnetka, IL 60093.
