Thomas Wayne Holley, Jr., 68, of Mishawaka, passed away in his home, surrounded by his family, on Friday evening, December 3, 2021.

Tom was born April 29, 1953 in South Bend, a son of Thomas and Verdinia (Thompson) Holley. He lived in Mishawaka most of his life. 

Tom was a very devoted husband, wonderful father, loving grandfather and great grandfather and an excellent friend to all. He worked as a precision machinist for Attco Machine. Earlier employment included Shafer Gear and Allied. Tom had a great work ethic and was a big Notre Dame and Colts fan. He enjoyed watching television and especially Westerns. He traveled the entire United States. He was a caring, down to earth man. 

Tom married Carol Charlotte Johnson on August 14, 1971. He is survived by a daughter, Cristy (John) Bretz of Dowagiac; two granddaughters, Charity (Christian) Jackson and Cassidy (Kollin) Schultz; two great grandchildren, Grace Schultz and Judah Jackson; and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, Tom was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Holley; and his siblings David Adkins, Robert Holley, Roxie Cox, Karen Głuchowski and Sandra Hardesty.

Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 8, in Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. 3rd Street, Mishawaka, with Pastor Austin Hopper officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday and 10 to 11 am on Wednesday in the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to REAL Services or Heart to Heart Hospice.
