<p>Matthew Richard Shultz, 37&nbsp;of Frederick, Maryland, went home to be with our Lord, after a long-fought illness at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He was the&nbsp;beloved&nbsp;husband of Jennifer Anne Shultz.&nbsp;</p> <p>Born on May 16, 1984 in Frederick, Maryland he was a cherished&nbsp;son of Bernard Thomas Shultz and the late Linda Lee (Main) Shultz. Matthew worked&nbsp;as a crew leader for the City of Frederick while co-owning and operating his own business Willow Creek Services LLC with his brother&nbsp;Michael.&nbsp;Matthew will&nbsp;be&nbsp;dearly missed by his wife&nbsp;and children,&nbsp;son Wesley Raymond Shultz, 10,&nbsp;and daughter Breanna Lynn Shultz, 8. He will also be missed by his&nbsp;Father Bernard Thomas Shultz as well as his&nbsp;brother and&nbsp;best&nbsp;friend&nbsp;Michael Thomas Shultz,&nbsp;niece Kaylee Elizabeth Shultz, 11,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Aunts&nbsp;Barbara Ann Harris and Rebecca Main. Matthew was blessed with a large family and will be missed by many cousins and great aunts and uncles and a number&nbsp;of treasured friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his favorite Uncle Richard (Dickie) Lee Main Jr. and his grandparents.&nbsp;</p> <p>Matthew Richard Shultz was a GREAT man who loved EVERYONE in his life and had touched everyone&rsquo;s heart. He was young and had so much more living to do before his life was cut short. Matthew lived a full&nbsp;life and would want us all to keep living and keep&nbsp;celebrating every moment of our own lives. Matthew never complained and saw the positive in everything and everyone. He was a hard worker and strong man. He will&nbsp;FOREVER&nbsp;be&nbsp;missed!&nbsp;</p> <p>Until we meet again, we will remember his vibrant smile and his upbeat attitude.</p> <p>The family will receive friends&nbsp;from&nbsp;12-2pm on Wednesday December 8th&nbsp;at the Frederick Church of the Brethren. A service will be held at the church&nbsp;beginning at 2pm. Rev. Dr. Paul Mundey will officiate. Interment will be held at Grossnickle Church of the Brethren Cemetery. A celebration of Matthew and his mother Linda&rsquo;s life will be held at the church immediately following interment.</p> <p>Memorial donations may be made in C/O Jennifer Shultz for the education and future for their children.</p>

Obituary

Matthew Richard Shultz, 37 of Frederick, Maryland, went home to be with our Lord, after a long-fought illness at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer Anne Shultz. 

Born on May 16, 1984 in Frederick, Maryland he was a cherished son of Bernard Thomas Shultz and the late Linda Lee (Main) Shultz. Matthew worked as a crew leader for the City of Frederick while co-owning and operating his own business Willow Creek Services LLC with his brother Michael. Matthew will be dearly missed by his wife and children, son Wesley Raymond Shultz, 10, and daughter Breanna Lynn Shultz, 8. He will also be missed by his Father Bernard Thomas Shultz as well as his brother and best friend Michael Thomas Shultz, niece Kaylee Elizabeth Shultz, 11, and Aunts Barbara Ann Harris and Rebecca Main. Matthew was blessed with a large family and will be missed by many cousins and great aunts and uncles and a number of treasured friends. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his favorite Uncle Richard (Dickie) Lee Main Jr. and his grandparents.

The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Wednesday December 8th at the Frederick Church of the Brethren. A service will be held at the church beginning at 2pm. Rev. Dr. Paul Mundey will officiate. Interment will be held at Grossnickle Church of the Brethren Cemetery. A celebration of Matthew and his mother Linda’s life will be held at the church immediately following interment.
