<p>Mr. Otis Hamilton, son of the late Mr. Luther Hamilton and Mrs. Corrie Doctor Hamilton, was born on July 5, 1928 in Hampton County, South Carolina. He left his earthly home on Friday, December 3, 2021, at his residence in Varnville, South Carolina.At a young age, Mr. Otis became a member of the Antioch Christian Church in Varnville, South Carolina.<br /> He attended the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina. Mr. Otis retired from Georgia Pacific Company, after 20 years of service. He was a cement finisher for several years and owned a landscaping business for over 10 years.&nbsp;Mr. Otis never met a stranger. He would joke or tease anyone he met and would leave everyone laughing and in good spirits.<br /> He was preceded in death by his parents; two loving daughters, Shirley Lee Hamilton and Thelma H. Garvin; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Ruth and Ms. Frances Hamilton.<br /> His memory will live on in the hearts of; his loving and devoted wife, Edna L. Hamilton, of the home; daughter, Beatrice (Vonnie) Boles, of Augusta, GA; reared as a daughter, Sabrina Harley, of Columbia, SC; three sisters, Martha Capers, Rether Maloney, both of Varnville, SC, and Helen Hamilton, of Columbia, SC; one brother, Marion Hamilton, of Sylvania, GA; three sisters-in-law, Carrie Edwards, of Allendale, SC, Nancy Edwards, of Varnville, SC, and Elaine (James) Faison, of Hampton, SC; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his caregivers, Vander Boles, Angie Williams and others; a devoted family friend, Louis &ldquo;Bubba&rdquo; Walker; numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and many sympathizing friends.</p>
