<p>David Eugene Braden, 74, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at his home.</p> <p>David was born on Jan. 22, 1947, to Charles and Eva May Colcher Braden in Poplar Bluff.&nbsp; He married Virginia Rafael on May 5, 1969, at Clark Air force Base, in the Philippines. She preceded him in death on Oct. 4, 2011.</p> <p>David was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School Class of 1964&nbsp;and was a member of West Side Church of God.&nbsp; He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and later retired as a Poplar Bluff City Fireman. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his guitar and singing and playing fast pitch softball.&nbsp; He treasured spending time with his family and friends.</p> <p>David is survived by two daughters, Laury Lucas of Poplar Bluff and Debbie (James) Miller of Sikeston; four grandchildren, Zachary Lucas, Victoria Miller, Samantha Lucas and Bryce Miller; a brother, Dale (Nina) Braden of Puxico; a sister-in-law Connie Braden of Troy; a special friend Roberta White of Poplar Bluff; a special cousin Dorothy Campbell of Poplar Bluff; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>David was also preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a brother Glenn Braden.</p> <p>The visitation will begin at 1 pm Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at Willow Ridge Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 2 pm with Pastor Robert Duckett&nbsp;officiating. Interment with full military honors will take place at the City Cemetery.</p> <p>Willow Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to serve the family of David E. Braden.&nbsp;</p>

David Eugene Braden, 74, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at his home.
