Do you believe this?&rdquo;<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Blanche Marie Wilson was born on December 9, 1934, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She departed this life on&nbsp;December 1, 2021, at Riverside Hospital, Newport News, Virginia. She was a&nbsp;resident of Hampton, Virginia. She&nbsp;was the daughter of the late Mamie Lee Gillyard and Cain Meeks.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> She attended public school in Florida and college in New York.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Blanche accepted the Lord early in her life and was a dedicated member of Antioch Baptist Church where she&nbsp;served faithfully.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Blanche was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, compassionate great grandma, motherly figure, and a lifelong&nbsp;friend to many. She was an only child who loved people and people loved her.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> She was preceded in death by her parents Mamie Gillyard, Cain Meeks, her husband&rsquo;s Eddie Jenkins and Julius C.&nbsp;Wilson, and one son Edward Jenkins.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> She is survived by her children Phyllis Dudley, Barney Jenkins, and Cecelia Fair.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Grandchildren (6): Tonya and Tiffany Dudley, Michael, Julius and Josiah Fair, and Kenneth Jenkins<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Great-Grandchildren (11): Amani, Jaylin, Janiya, Tyshaun, Khamya, Khamia, Madison, Julius Jr, Khia, Josiah Jr.,&nbsp;and Jaden</p>

Blanche Marie Wilson was born on December 9, 1934, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She departed this life on December 1, 2021, at Riverside Hospital, Newport News, Virginia. She was a resident of Hampton, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Mamie Lee Gillyard and Cain Meeks.
 
She attended public school in Florida and college in New York.
 
Blanche accepted the Lord early in her life and was a dedicated member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served faithfully.
 
Blanche was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, compassionate great grandma, motherly figure, and a lifelong friend to many. She was an only child who loved people and people loved her.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents Mamie Gillyard, Cain Meeks, her husband’s Eddie Jenkins and Julius C. Wilson, and one son Edward Jenkins.
 
She is survived by her children Phyllis Dudley, Barney Jenkins, and Cecelia Fair.
