Do you believe this?”<br /> <br /> Blanche Marie Wilson was born on December 9, 1934, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She departed this life on December 1, 2021, at Riverside Hospital, Newport News, Virginia. She was a resident of Hampton, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Mamie Lee Gillyard and Cain Meeks.<br /> <br /> She attended public school in Florida and college in New York.<br /> <br /> Blanche accepted the Lord early in her life and was a dedicated member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served faithfully.<br /> <br /> Blanche was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, compassionate great grandma, motherly figure, and a lifelong friend to many. She was an only child who loved people and people loved her.<br /> <br /> She was preceded in death by her parents Mamie Gillyard, Cain Meeks, her husband’s Eddie Jenkins and Julius C.
