Cecilia Louise Bowens, 74, of Westminster, went Home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 26, 2021, at her home. Born May 14, 1947, in Frederick, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Melanie (Calestia) Bowens and the late James Arthur Frisby. Cecilia was of Baptist faith and worked at McDaniel College for more than 50 years. She enjoyed shopping, movies, cook-outs, and spending time with her family. Surviving Cecilia are sisters, Colleen McClain, and Patricia Beatrice Frisby; brothers, James Gregory Frisby, Nathan Joseph Frisby, Wayne Thomas Frisby, Edward Preston Frisby, Kevin Nathanial Frisby; nephews, Joey McClain, Boyd McClain, Marcus Frisby, Corey Frisby, Jeremy Frisby, Derek Frisby, Tristynn Frisby, Nathan Frisby Jr., Travis Frisby, and Bryce Frisby; nieces, Kierra Frisby, Chazma Frisby, Teresa Frisby, Savanna Frisby and a host of loving extended family. In addition to her parents, Cecilia was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Frisby. The family will welcome friends on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Westminster Cemetery.
