<p>Emanuel Antionne McCray, affectionately known as Tweezy, was born on August 28, 1984, to Laurence Brown and Sophia Brown in Albany, Georgia. He peacefully fell asleep in death surrounded by loved ones on December 2, 2021, at University Hospital in Augusta, GA.</p> <p><br /> Mr. McCray was preceded in death by his grandmothers Cora McCray, Rutha Dean Brown, and one Aunt, Evelyn Melissa Brown, who raised him as her own.</p> <p><br /> Mr. McCray attended Dougherty County public Schools, where he was a proud Trojan at Dougherty Comprehensive High School and a member of the Varsity boys&rsquo; basketball team. He absolutely loved and knew the game of basketball. He created the Georgia Boys basketball team, that won championships during the Battle of the South tournament. Emanuel dedicated his life to God and was baptized in 1993 at Greater Second Mount Olive Church in Albany, GA. He was employed with Bridgestone, at the Aiken Off Road Rodial Plant, in Aiken, SC, where he was a dedicated employee for almost 8 years. He was well known for his deep devotion to family and friends in need. He was a joy to be around.</p> <p><br /> He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 19 years, Cherdrina McCray. His children, Emanuel Jaiden McCray, Emajin Mariya McCray and Brooklyn Amare&rsquo; McCray, siblings, Lawrence Adacious McCray, Rashimon Alton Dupre (Kenethia)McCray, Decora Shalae McCray, Diamond Sakaya Brown, Brandon Taylor and Ametris Keon Brown, his loving parents Laurence (Sheila) Brown and Sophia Loren Brown. He also leaves to cherish his best friends, Flem Tucker, Alexander Johnson and Antavious Hilliard. He leaves an innumerable host of other sorrowing relatives, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors, Georgia Boys Basketball Team, the basketball community and his wonderful team members at Bridgestone. His smiles, kindness and love will truly be missed by all.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
