Tony Oneil Cardwell

Tony Oneil Cardwell age 55, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.  He was born on July 17, 1966 in Bowling Green to Virginia and Otis Cardwell.  Tony retired from Southern Sealing and Striping, loves motorcycles and shooting his guns. He is preceded in death by his parents and sons Steven and Cory Cardwell.

Tony is survived by wife of 37 years Jackie LeGrand Cardwell of Morgantown; children James Cardwell (Jennifer) of  Bowling Green, Tiffany McCoy of Bowling Green, Louis Cardwell (Katie) of Morgantown; five grandchildren Kaleb Riddle, Christopher Truszcienski, Jackson Cardwell, Lilly Cardwell and Vivian Cardwell;  mother Kathy Cardwell of Bowling Green; sisters Linda Cegielski of Bowling Green, Missy Jones of Morgantown; three brothers Tommy Cardwell of Morgantown, Gary Cardwell of Bowling Green, Bud Haynes of Bowling Green; two sisters in law Shelia Wilson of Morgantown and Shannon Lindsey (Monty) of Brownsville; two brothers in law James LeGrand (Sabrina) of Bowling Green; Kevin Cardwell(Karen) of Bowling Green; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021 at 1pm with Shannon Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Youngtown Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021 from 5-8pm and Wednesday from 8am til time of service.
