Judy Walden passed away in her home on November 29th at the age of 75, surrounded by the loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Judy was born on 01/01/1946. At 3 months old she was adopted by James Harvey Garlet and Myra Garlet. She was raised in Kansas City, MO and attended Center High School. She graduated in 19464 and married Steve Williams, and had 3 children Paul Williams, Barry Williams, and Mindy Legg-Williams. After 15 years of marria,e she divorced and found her one true love, Jerry Walden. They where married till he passed away in March 21 2010. Judy had an uncanny ability to makes friends anywhere she went. Her pleasant outgoing personality was contagious to everyone she met. She never met a stranger. She lived in Kansas City most of her life with a few stays in England and different cities and towns in Missouri until she spent the rest of her life in Raymore MO. She loved her community center. She was passionate about horses, books, and loved to travel. Judy Walden was a caring mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend. Judy is survived by son Paul Williams wife Melinda Williams, son Barry Williams and daughter Mindy Legg Williams. Grandkids Mitchell Stouch, Michelle Roach, Maxine Williams, Jo Legg, Jasper Williams and Dalton Williams. As well as numerous cousins. She was preceded by her parents, James Harvey Garlet and Myra Garlet; her husband, Jerry Walden: and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. A celebration of life will be held Friday December 10th from 2:00pm till 4:00 pm at Belton senior center 609 Minnie Ave, Belton, MO 64012
