Ella Gertrude Fagan

Ella Gertrude Fagan, 94, of Lubbock, Texas was born on May 19,1927 in Elk City, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Samuel and Jennie (Hollis) Caughron. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Wedgewood South Assisted Living Center in Lubbock, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She married Jesse Dearl "JD" Fagan on September 9, 1946 in Wheeler, Texas. Together they celebrated seventy-one years of marriage until his passing on April 16, 2018. Ella worked as a lab technician at Harvest Queen Mills in Plainview, Texas and retired after thirty-five years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Elk City where she served faithfully. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Fairlawn Cemetery Pavilion, Elk City, Oklahoma. Rev. Scott Rogers will officiate. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma. Cherishing her memory is her two sons, Ron Fagan and his wife Darla of Lubbock, Texas, Brian Fagan and his wife Cora of Gallatin, Tennessee; one brother, Glenn Caughron of Wichita, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her husband, JD Fagan; her parents Samuel and Jennie Coughron; two brothers, Paul Caughron and J.R. Caughron; two sisters, Marie Weaver and Evelyn Hinn..
