Eleanor Mae Testerman Aberdeen, Maryland Obituary

Eleanor Mae Testerman

Eleanor Mae Testerman born January 1, 1932 died at Harford Memorial Hospital November 28, 2021. She is survived by her five children, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Eleanor enjoyed playing cards and crafts of all kinds, especially crocheting and she loved to fish. She volunteered and the Citizens Nursing home in Havre de Grace for many years. She spent many summers in Cape Cod with her beloved daughter-in-law Sandy and son Joe. She loved going out to eat with her daughter Donna Jean and shopping for that just right outfit. She cherished the times she would go to flea markets or yard sales for the thrill of what she might discover with her daughter Rosemarie and son-in-law Michael. Her heart and soul would always lighten each and every time her son Randy would come for a visit and each major holiday, Randy would be sure to cook the most elaborate meal for her. Her son David, which she always called him Davey, lived with her for nearly twenty years. He took care of every need around the house and later as she became dependent, he took care of her every need as well. Eleanor had said over and over how good he was... there is no doubt about that! She was a fun-loving easy-going person. She will be sorely missed.

Aunt Elenor was always a hoot at “the Beach” as we called Cape Cod. I remember her jumping off the bow of the boat and swimming the last 30 yards to shore.
