James William Livesay III (Jay) 41, passed away on November 24, 2021, at his home in Chugiak Alaska. Jay was born October 23rd, 1980, to James William Livesay II and Pamela Jean Hodgson in Anchorage, Alaska. From an early age, Jay loved camping in the woods and building campfires. Throughout Junior High and High School and into his thirties, Jay and his brother, Robert worked for their dad in his business Arctic Jewelers which manufactured Gold Nugget Jewelry. Jay enjoyed 4-wheeling, camping, and Paint Ball. He and his friends, Chris Cruikshank and John & Barb Bannatyne enjoyed snow machining into remote cabins for the weekends. When his dad’s business closed, he went to work for ASRC welding and also became a journeyman electrician. Jay had an incredible green thumb. Fondly remembered for his beautiful gardens and thriving indoor plants. He had a love for antiques & BMW’s; finding value in just about everything. Jay always had a project in process.
