Loreta C. Lee, age 76 of Effort, PA passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Kindred Health Care Center in Dover, NJ. Loreta was the loving wife of Vinzon R. Lee. They had been married 50 years in August. She was born in Mindoro, Philippines on March 2, 1945, the daughter of the late Romeo and Cecilia (Zubiri) Calabio. Most of her working life Loreta worked as a Registered Nurse at Kings Highway Hospital, Brookdale Hospital, Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert, PA. We have been blessed with the presence of Loreta in our lives. She will be deeply missed by her son: Vincent Lee and his wife Julia of Forest Hills, NY. She was the loving grandmother to her two grandchildren: Ethan and Katelyn Lee. She is also survived by her siblings: Zenaida Calabio Samson, Reynaldo Calabro, Clemencia Calabio Gonzales, Rafaela Calabio-Khan, Deogracias Calabio and Roberto Calabio, She was preceded in death by a sister: Racquel Calabio Janolo. Services and interment are private and at the convenience of the family. The Mass of Christian Burial will be live streamed.
