<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Patsy Alice Brinegar, 79, of Ramp went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a short illness.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Born June 8, 1942 at Ramp she was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Verona L. Fox Dick.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Patsy was of the Holiness faith. She was a former guard at the Women&rsquo;s State Prison at Pence Springs, cook at Avis school, housekeeper at Berea Hospital and had worked at the Summers County Council on Aging. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, sewing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Alphon Brinegar; son, Dana Brinegar and two great grandchildren, Callie Elizabeth Robinson and Aaliyah Leftridge and nephew, Allen Brinegar.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Datsi Farmer and husband Gary and Debbie Ward and friend Mike Ward; three grandchildren, Stephen Reed, Deb Reed and V. J. Brinegar; two great grandchildren, Wade Brinegar and Clayton Brinegar; one sister, Margie Brinegar; one special niece, Decretia Cales and several nieces, nephews and cousins.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Patricia Cales and Pastor Roy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Shockley Hill Cemetery at Tug Creek. Friends may call from 6:00 &ndash; 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The family would like to thank the staff of Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dr. Day and Maggie (Nurse Practitioner) Nurse Anastasia and especially the aides that were attending at Patsy&rsquo;s time of passing, Sarah, Nate and Shawnaa for their excellent care.</p>

     Patsy was of the Holiness faith.
