Scott W. Beers

Scott Beers, age 63 of El Do Lakes Development in Kunkletown passed away November 17, 2021 at his home. Scott was the loving husband of Jane (Sorber) Beers. He was born in Jacksonville, NC on October 6, 1958, son of Donna (Wagner) Merkel and the late Larry Beers. Most of his working life her worked as a Mechanic/Truck driver. Living in El Do Lakes for Scott was part of his history, his grandparents Elwood and Dorothy Beers founded the development many years ago. Scott was loved by many and he worked hard all his life. If anyone was in need of a helping hand, all they had to do was give Scott and call and he would be there to do anything they needed. We have been blessed with the presence of Scott in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his wife: Jane (Sorber) Beers of Kunkletown, his mother: Donna (Wagner) Merkel and her husband George of Walnutport, his children: Jared, Jeremy and Joshua Beers and Danielle Gebhardt & her husband Bryant. Scott is also survived by two brothers: Kelly and Larry Beers and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister: Natalie. A Celebration of Scott’s life will be private and at the convenience of the family.
