Jean Evangeline Saunders Hampton, New Brunswick Obituary

Jean Evangeline Saunders

It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Evangeline Saunders announce her death, which occurred on December 2, 2021, at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre in Hampton, NB. Born on February 23, 1940, she was a chosen daughter of the late Victor and Margaret (Perkins) Fordham. Jean is survived by her sister, Dolly Scribner, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her biological mother, Dolores Gould (Sanders); brothers: Robert, Douglas, and Morris Fordham; and sisters, Thelma Piers and Josephine Greer. Jean loved her family and over the years collected many pictures of her family and friends. Growing up she loved dogs, especially her toy poodles, Tammy and Kacey, and in her later years was always surrounded by stuffed animals. Jean had a sweet tooth, often enjoying a cinnamon bun with her loved ones, and would rarely say no to a good slice of pepperoni pizza. She was a character to be around and will be missed by many. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A burial will be held from Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Kingston NB, in the spring of 2022. Donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Canadian Cancer Society (NB), or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through ReidsFH.com
