Charles Ray "C.R." Lee

Funeral services for Charles Ray “C.R.” Lee are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, December 5, 2021, at New Life Church with Bro. Marion Spence and Bro. Joey Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday, prior to the service, beginning at 1 PM. Mr. Lee, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the age of ninety-two. He was a Deacon at Riverside Baptist Church and retired from International Paper. Mr. Lee loved riding his motorcycle, playing spoons with friends, and listening to music. He loved to pick and joke with everyone, and most of all, he loved Jesus. Mr. Lee is survived by his children, Linda Lee Bayless and husband Eddie, Chris Lee and wife Judy, and Tracy Lee Bagby and husband Carlus; grandchildren, Spence, Justin, Cassie, Greg, Christy, Tiffany, Holly, Adam, Deana, Kami, and Katrena; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cammie Spence Lee; parents, Edmond and Ida Thornhill Lee; children, Bobby Lee, Melba Lee, and Regina Lee; one granddaughter, Robin Moore; and siblings, Jean, John, Bill, Rube James, Evelyn, and Ollie Mae. Serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Lee’s grandsons and great-grandsons.
