Susan Mary Metz, age 67 of Rochester Hills, passed away November 30, 2021. Loving wife of the late Larry Metz and the late Douglas Sanner, beloved mother of Lindsay Sanner, and dear sister of Larry (Alice) Talaski, Greg (Margie) Talaski, Cyndi (Michael) Baldwin and Kathy (Don) Zimmerman. Cherished Grandma Sue to Jacob, Cydney, and Camryn Robinson. Susan loved being an Aunt to her nine nephews and Great Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She was a very special friend to many. Susan was born March 14th, 1954 in Bad Axe, MI to the late Archie and Phyllis Talaski. She attended beauty school and after owning her own salon, she transitioned into sales. Susan retired from Beauty Craft, where she was the first Woman Sales Representative at the company. She enjoyed baking, throwing pottery on her wheel, golfing, knitting, and playing cards. Susan was a Master Gardener and member of the Rochester Garden Club, as well as the The Red Hatters. She enjoyed volunteering for the Assistance League and her Church. Please join us in celebrating the life of Susan on Friday December 10th from 3-8pm at Potere-Modetz Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass Saturday December 11th at 10am at St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
