Geraldine Murphy age 74, widow of Hershel Murphy, died Wednesday Dec. 1, 2021 at St Joseph London Hospital. Geraldine was born in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Albert and Gladys Coffey Stone, she was retired as an ER Technician from St Joseph Berea Hospital and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Jerry Stone, Thomas Stone, Billy Stone, and Sharon Stone.
Geraldine is survived by her daughter Diane (Greg) Bowles, grandchildren: Trevor (Brittany Isaacs) Harrison and Jonathan Harrison, her brother Jimmy (Devonna) Stone and special friends: Loretta Raider, Connie Dees, Michelle Stout, Shirley Allen, Billy and Kelly Beavers, Hank and Angie Halstead, and Dewey and Doris Harrison. Funeral services will be Monday Dec. 6, 2021 at 1 pm at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Miller officiating. Burial will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Jackson County. Pallbearers will be Terry Murphy, Troy Murphy, Marvin Powell, Mike Powell, Keith Bowles, and Gary Lee Stout. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home.
