Mrs. Margaret Badcock of Shearstown passed peacefully away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear. Mrs. Badcock was 84 years old. She leaves to mourn: Daughter: Shirley Mercer Sons: Donald Badcock (Ann Marie) & Clarence Badcock (Phyllis) Large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren Sisters & Brothers: Mae Somerton, Jean (Gade) Mugford, Robert (Evelyn) Mercer, Fraiser (Annie) Mercer & Clyde (Carol) Mercer Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Susan Mercer, Allan (Goldie) Badcock, John (Elizabeth) Badcock, Wilson (Bertha) Badcock & Susie (Ches) Holmes And a large number of relatives and friends Predeceased by: Parents: Charles & Susannah Mercer Husband: Clarence Badcock Sr. Daughter: Ann (Wayne) Sparkes Step Grandson: Ryan Dawe Badcock Son-in-law: John Mercer Sister & Brother: Levinia (Daniel) Fowler & David Mercer Brother-in-law: Wallace Somerton The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, L. T. Stick Drive, Bay Roberts on Friday: 2 -5 P.M. & 7-8:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy donations may be made is her loving memory to a Charity of One’s Choice. Proof of vaccination will be needed for both visitation and the Funeral Service. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 7:30 P.M. from Slade’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts.
