Cheryl L. Foster (nee Rieder), age 74 of Hudson, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021. She is survived by her beloved husband Wilton "Bo" Foster; loving daughter Courtney Foster; dear sister Wendy (Ron) Simko; nephew Jeff (Danielle) Simko and niece Kristen (Drew) Frevert; aunt Ann Spearmint; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She graduated from Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing in 1968 and practiced Nursing at University of Pennsylvania Hospital and at St Vincent Hospital until she moved to Northeastern Ohio in 1979. Cheryl was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Hudson growing her faith in the church for 35 years, she served on the Mission Board, Deaconesses and other committees. She was a member of PEO, a philanthropic education organization that supports scholarships, grants and loans to women, she spent 40 years advancing the lives of women through education and was one of the founding members of a Hudson Chapter (ET) in 1987 holding many office positions since then. Cheryl loved spending time with family and friends, she was a blessing to all that knew her. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the First Congregational Church of Hudson, 47 Aurora St, Hudson, OH 44236.
