James E. Wilson

<p>James E. Wilson, loving husband and father, died peacefully at his home in White Hall, November 25, 2021, surrounded by his family at the age of 92.</p><p><br></p><p> He was born November 22, 1929 in Monroe, Louisiana, son of Elsie Mae Hildesheim and James E. Wilson, Sr. After briefly living in Alabama, James and his family moved to White Hall in the 1940s.</p><p><br></p><p> Mr. Wilson owned and operated Wilson Grease Trap and Septic Tank Service for over 50 years. He was a very hard worker and provided well for his family. He had a love for antique cars and loved going to car shows. If not working, he was at home tinkering on his trucks and doing things around his home. Mr. Wilson loved his family and was there to lend a helping hand. He loved horses and watching westerns on TV.</p><p><br></p><p> He was a member of First Baptist Church of White Hall (baptized at Lee Memorial Baptist Church).</p><p><br></p><p> Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife of more than 60 years, Lucy Paralee Slaughter Wilson; two sons, James Lee Wilson, Larry Ellender Wilson; daughter, Pamela Colleen Wilson; and grandson, Brian Wilson.</p><p><br></p><p> Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Hulett and Rebecca Ann Fowler; son, Terry Lewis Wilson; brother, Clifton Hildesheim; six grandchildren, Tina Greene, Timothy Burns, Trevor Hulett, Adam Wilson, Tiffany Wilson and Destin Fowler; and three great-grandchildren, Christian Greene, Tori Greene and Carter Wilson.</p><p><br></p><p> Funeral services will be private by Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel. Interment will also be private. </p><p><br></p><p> Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 11300 N.
