<p>Jeffrey Allan Hermansen, age 57 of Princeton, MN, passed away at 2:11pm on Saturday, November 27th, 2021 surrounded by his fianc&eacute; and children, after a 4-week battle with Covid.</p> <p>He was born May 16, 1964 in Robbinsdale, MN.&nbsp; The son of Herman and Diane (Moffat) Hermansen.</p> <p>Jeff attended Robbinsdale Senior High School and enlisted in the Navy after graduation in 1982.&nbsp; He served his country from July 1982 &ndash; March 1984, attending U.S. Naval Submarine School and served in the weapons division as a submarine Torpedoman, aboard the U.S.S. Ray, SSN-653 nuclear powered fast-attack submarine, stationed in South Carolina.</p> <p>Jeff was a man of God who shared the love of Christ, and always had an optimistic view of life.&nbsp; An &ldquo;eternal optimist&rdquo; as he was often called.&nbsp; He was a family man; loving his fianc&eacute;, children, and grandchildren more than words can describe.&nbsp; He raised his children with the love of Christ, providing them with a life rich in experiences, love and laughter from the time they were born.&nbsp; His happy place was his cabin in Winter, WI on Blaisdell Lake where numerous wonderful memories were made.&nbsp; The joy he felt when spending time there with his fianc&eacute;, family and friends is immeasurable.&nbsp;</p> <p>Jeffrey loved everyone unconditionally and made friends everywhere he went.&nbsp; He traveled to his Grandfather&rsquo;s homeland of Norway, in 2018 with his daughter Ariel, and was able to meet his relatives and see the Hermansen homestead.&nbsp; It was a dream trip he cherished and always wanted to return with the rest of his family one day.&nbsp; His passion for people led him into a life-long career in Sales, making many friendships along the way.&nbsp; Jeff will be remembered most by his smile, infectious laugh and vibrant personality, which could light up any room.&nbsp;</p> <p>Jeff is survived by his fianc&eacute; and love of his life, Blythe (Clugston); Three children: a daughter, Ariel Hermansen of Shoreview; a son, Brock and Selena (Lerfald) Hermansen of Minneapolis; a stepson, Logan Fritz of Phoenix, AZ; &nbsp;3 grandchildren: Lillian Reeve, age 3;&nbsp; Kade Allan, age 3; Leonardo Jeffrey, 1 month; a sister, Julie Fahey of Coon Rapids, and one niece, Ashley Heir.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Craig and sister-in-law Linda.</p> <p>Visitation will be on Monday, December 6th from 4-7pm at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN.</p> <p>Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 7th at 11am, at Miller Funeral Home with a brief viewing available 1 hour prior.&nbsp; Pastor Greg Grimstead will be officiating.&nbsp;</p> <p>A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow the service at Moe&rsquo;s Bar &amp; Grill, 2400 County Hwy 10, Mounds View, MN. Jeffrey Allan Hermansen, age 57 of Princeton, MN, passed away at 2:11pm on Saturday, November 27th, 2021 surrounded by his fiancé and children, after a 4-week battle with Covid.
